Info

Pembina Valley Pride will be holding our annual Pride March and Rally at the Triple E Main Stage in Winkler (1201 Grandeur Avenue) on Saturday, June 13th, 2026.

All 2SLGBTQIA+ people and our allies are welcome to participate in the march and join the rally. This is a participatory march rather than a spectator event.

For more Pride Month events in the Pembina Valley, visit our calendar!

  • Rainbow Church starts at 10:30am @ Covenant Mennonite Church (363 8 St, Winkler).

Rainbow Makers Market and fundraising lunch (hot dogs, chips and drinks) starts at 12pm. This year we’re partnering with Genesis House for the lunch.

We will begin with the speeches at 1pm, followed by the march and entertainment when we return to the site.

  • There’s a large parking lot off Grandeur Avenue.

  • Check out the Google event map.

  • At Pembina Valley Pride, we strive to be as accessible as possible. Here are some things we have in place to live into that vision:

ASL Interpreter – we will have an ASL interpreter there for the opening remarks and for the duration of the speeches.

Sensory friendly zone – we will have a sensory friendly zone designated at the front of the march. This will be a quieter space, and will set the pace of the march so nobody gets left behind.

Online options – For those who are unable to attend our event in-person, we will be streaming highlights throughout the afternoon and will post the full video after the event.

Mobility issues – For those who anticipate mobility issues, we will be marching in a loop this year. Some board members will be staying at the site and you’re welcome to hang out and welcome the parade back! We aim to have a 15-20 minute route.

Accessible washrooms are available at the site.

  • Safety of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community (and our allies) is a top priority of Pembina Valley Pride.

Please note that, while we would love for everybody to be safe to live authentically, we recognize that this is sometimes not the case. We aren’t able to guarantee that photos taken in public places will not be published online or in publications, and we ask that you keep this in mind if your personal safety and security is a potential concern.

We have first aid available, and Southern Health knows we’re going to be in the area.

Water bottles will be available, free of charge.

Hand sanitizer will be readily available and we encourage you to practice good hand hygiene. There is also an accessible washroom available at the site.

    We’ll have private security on-site.

  • Leaving the site cleaner than we found it will demonstrate the character of our community. Please ensure you are leaving nothing behind.

While protesters may be present, participants are asked not to engage with them, as this day is about our community. If you feel your safety is at risk, find a volunteer and let them know.

Staying home when you’re sick is a form of community care. We ask that you stay home if you aren’t feeling well or have tested positive for COVID.

  • Pembina Valley Pride Parade is a family friendly event. We will have a family activity area.
